Nenni & Associates recently partnered with a Mechanical Contracting company specializing in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing services to identify a General Manager. Sean Bayless and Paul Copper joined forces to search for and submit suitable top-tier candidates for the client.
The criteria requested by the client included that the candidates have the capability to be the single point of accountability for the operating unit's performance, including culture, vision, and strategy for growth and financial results. Using these criteria, the team selected five candidates from the various construction industries.
Three finalists were identified from those five, and eventually, the client chose one candidate, and an employment offer was extended. The client felt the top candidate had a strong track record in mechanical contracting and leadership. They also showed operational excellence and had already accomplished many of the decision-making team's goals. Ultimately, the client knew this candidate was the best fit, professionally and culturally.
Paul Copper comes to Nenni & Associates as a 20-year team leader in fortune 500 retail companies. He specializes in corporate strategy and building teams and is highly experienced with C-suite, public speaking, and company communications and presentation.
